Naughty Coco! My cat has been having great fun in the garden recently. Unfortunately it is at the expense of the local dragonfly population.
Beautiful examples of nature. It's a shame the brilliant colours fade after they die.

Awww! I love to see their wings in the sunlight. I don't think I've ever seen one with such a pretty body as this guy.
ReplyDeleteah yes, cats and the gifts they bring us! such devotion... and i often cringe! :0)
ReplyDeleteSo sad the colors fade. But I guess that makes them all the more beautiful in life.
ReplyDeleteYep - one of the traits I'm not keen about with our cat. I could forgo the little gifts on our doorstep.
I love dragonflys, and your photo is super!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic Kristin! xx
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful picture. I imagine they help inspire some of your jewelry creations too.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a beautiful shot! and that little guy (or a girl?) is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave seen so many dragonflies this year, it's been just wonderful. Not easy to photograph though so well done for this photo.
