Sitting Pretty

I've been busy busy busy, creating for the table sale on Sunday. Have I got enough stock? Will I sell anything? Will anyone turn up? Will I even make enough to pay for the cost of the table? So many unknowns... I shall just have to see.

Anyway, here are some of my latest jewellery pieces starting with the first pair of earrings I am calling 'Sitting Pretty' (fine silver hammered rings with little silver clay flowers 'sitting pretty' at the bottom). Next are three of my 'Blooms' earrings (patterned, crystal and shiny), little flowers all made from silver clay and sitting on integral earwires.

If you're a jewellery fiddler like me (in other words, if you can't resist touching and fiddling with the jewellery you wear), then these are the earrings for you as the little flowers spin around.

  1. I hope it went well. Was it this sunday or next sunday? If next sunday then I wish you luck for then :-) I know how worrying it is before you set up (did I bring everything, what's the weather like, will people come & if so will they buy etc).

  2. Thanks for the luck Lina, I certainly needed it! The table sale was yesterday and although I came away with a reasonable profit it was a long day.

  4. Craft fair days are always very long, I think! So glad you made a profit. I'd be surprised if you didn't do really well as those earrings are very lovely.

  5. Wonderful earrings. Hope you did well with your show. I have one coming up this Saturday. Just love doing shows. The feedback and contact is terrific. Great for the ego I think.

  7. Thank you all for your kind comments and support. All in all the table sale went well but of course I would have like to sold more!

Lois - you're right, I did appreciate the feedback from those who stopped at my table and I met some other jewellery makers. Good luck with your show.

    Kristin :)
