Colour Combo Pendant

Last year I made a very colourful pendant I named 'Colour Me Happy' made from multi-gemstone rondelles woven around a handmade circular pendant. Here is an alternative version I have just made with a smaller colour palette of one of my favourite colour combinations: purple and pink.

Spiral Loop Chandelier Earrings and more...

Well, finally the weather was kind to me and I was able to find some time to photograph my latest earrings.

Firstly, here are my Spiral Loop Chandelier Earwires with some gemstone dangles (beautiful amethyst faceted drops paired with rubellite garnet). I was very tempted to keep these but have decided to put them up for sale in my Etsy and Folksy (please click the photo for a direct link to the Etsy listing).
The second pair of earrings feature some unusual octagon shaped faceted lilac amethyst beads. The beads aren't perfect with some natural inclusions and slight flaws but I still think they look fab.

And lastly, some more earrings from my range I am calling 'Spiral Adorned'. These earrings are made from some stunning glossy vibrant blue agate coin beads adorned with spirals. (My husband said the beads looked liked blue Smarties but the old type before they stopped using all those E numbers in the colouring!). These earrings are also for sale in my Etsy and Folksy shops.

Hammered Circles

My 'Hammered Circles' range of earrings, pendants and bracelets have proved to be some of my best selling jewellery pieces and the design offers itself to so many different gemstones (a different colour for every different outfit!). Recently I made this set in amethyst (one of my all time favourite gemstones as I adore purple).

Then last night I made this bracelet and earrings set using the most beautiful kyanite beads I have seen for a long time. They are a blue/green colour with amazing lustre and colour changing inclusions.

I took the above pictures outside to maximise the colours shown in the beads and discovered a great texture background in my garden bench. I tried lots of areas in my garden to explore different types of natural background. It was pretty cold outside and I wonder what my neighbours must have thought seeing me lying on the damp grass - oh, what you have to do for a decent picture!
