Princess Zara Pendant

Following similar design principles to my Cinderella Pendant, I made this necklace for my friend, Zara's birthday. In keeping with the fairytale theme, the necklace found its name easily...

The Collective Charity Auction - in aid of Haiti

The Collective is holding another auction - this time in aid of Haiti via Oxfam. Included in this auction are some amazing lots to bid on (jewellery, beads, cuddlies), all donated by a whole hoard of talented designers. The auction has been kindly organised by Mel of Kookie Designs and ends at 8pm on Monday 15th February.

Please click the link below to be taken to the auction:

I have donated a pendant from my new 'Blossom' range of jewellery (more to come on that later, including details of my new 'Wire Blossoms' tutorial).

Finding the right angle

A while ago I wrote a post about how difficult it was to photograph bracelets and this morning I have had the same struggle with my latest necklace. It is made from beautiful fluorite nugget beads with a handmade spiral clasp. I wanted to make sure I was showing off the amazing range of colours found in the fluorite beads.

To take these photographs took ages to find the right angle and I've still got a lot of other jewellery to photograph (as well as a load of housework!). Oh well, tomorrow is another day!
